We love everything about the consignment sale business and have enjoyed every minute that we spent getting to know our consignors and shoppers, but as some of you may know, we also have other full time businesses in place too and as the Ava Bella sale has expanded and grown, it really requires more time than what myself (Colleen) and Connie are able to do.
 

I (Colleen) sell real estate full time with RE/MAX The Producers and while the market has been down, my business has grown and shot up. I love everything about real estate too AND I also have 3 young children to devote my time to. Connie has been enjoying her retirement by traveling, caring for grandkids, and working part-time establishing an online retail business by opening a store on eBay.  The store is currently being stocked with maternity, children’s new and gently used clothing, dishes, jewelry, collectibles, and a wide variety of items for sale.  The stores new web address is coming soon and it will have hundreds of items for sale over the next few months.  She is also an eBay trained Education Specialist, who loves to buy and sell on eBay, so some of her time will be spent teaching others the basics of how to buy and sell on eBay.
 
The sad part is that this AVA BELLA Consignment Sale is growing. We have systems in place. We trained with one of the biggest and best sales in the nation to establish our systems. We have a huge mailing list, devoted consignors and shoppers, and have all the equipment and advertising pieces in place to run a great sale…So if you are or know of someone who would be interested in taking this over where we left off, then please have them contact us. We are many steps ahead on growing a business than having one started from scratch. All the logistics are in place. All you need is the time, money, and motivation to put into a business.
 

It has HUGE potential! What other business plan can you have that you work only a few months out of a year? What other retail business doesn’t require you to carry inventory? It’s an exciting and growing retail field. While many other retail sectors are down, consignment shopping has exploded! If you love kids stuff and working with people that shop it, it’s such a fun, fun business to be in! We would be willing to train you on all the systems and how to run it the first time around. We won’t be freely disclosing information to just anyone…Only those that have truly considered this as a business and have some background information already in place so they know what to expect.
 

OR if you know of a non-profit that may be interested in taking over the sale for their organization, please have them contact us. We hate to see all this hard work, time, money, and effort go to waste. Someone can benefit from it and we want them to!
